Country-of-origin determinations on coloured stones are laboratory opinions based on inclusion patterns and chemical signatures. Top laboratories (GRS, SSEF, Gübelin) maintain extensive reference databases, but the science has limits — a stone sometimes cannot be definitively attributed, and new reference data can revise earlier calls.

Where an origin call is ambiguous or rare (e.g. "Kashmir vs unspecified"), the laboratory's report will say so. We never overstate an origin beyond what the report supports.

Product photography is captured under controlled lighting (5500K diffused LED against a neutral-white background). Colours may appear different on your display depending on monitor calibration, ambient light, and the specific stone. Where a description says "royal blue" or "pigeon blood", the binding source is the laboratory's colour attribution — not the photograph.

Where we use 3D renders (bespoke commissions, AI-generated thumbnails for category pages), it is disclosed inline. Product-listing photos are always of the actual stone on offer — never stock photography, never AI-generated.

We update the catalog continuously. Prices, availability, and specifications shown may become out of date within minutes during active market hours (especially for diamond cache data from Nivoda, Rapnet, VDB). The moment you add a stone to your cart, price and availability are locked for 30 minutes — after that, the current catalog values apply.
